Framework for scoring - KFL6



1. SCORING - 

Half point for each run scored. 

12.5 points for each wicket. 
In case of run out, 12.5 points for player whose name appear on ESPNCricinfo scorecard. 
Wicket keeper will score wicket points if his name appear on scorecard. At start of tournament value of players will be set to zero. As tournament progresses, value of player will be equal to his KFL score. 

2. REWARD - 

Batsman Strike rate reward = 0.5 x (Number of runs scored - Number of balls faced)
Bowler Wickets Reward - Scoring rate to increase by 5 points after every wicket. Second wicket to get 17.5 points. Third wicket to get 22.5 points. Fourth wicket to get 27.5 points and so on.
Bowler Economy rate reward = 0.5 x (1.25 x number of deliveries bowled)-Total runs conceded. 
RESULT Reward = Scores of winning team players will get doubled for respective match

3. Team formation -

Each member will have to form team of 11 players. 
 Foreign PLAYERS - Each member will be allowed to select maximum five foreign players in his team. 

Player's purchase window - April 13 17:00 Hrs to April 18 10:00 Hrs

Purchase cost of player = Players' updated KFL score on April 18 10:00 Hrs.

4. Substitute Window - 

First Substitute Window - April 29 23:00 Hrs to April 30 16:00 Hrs
Second Substitute Window - May 10 23:00 Hrs to May 11 20:00 Hrs
After league stage of IPL9, members can place sub request at any time. It shall take effect from subsequent match. After substitution execution, points equal to new player will be reduced from member's score. No limit for number of substitute requests. 
But substitute requests will have to be given in multiples of three.

Framework for scoring - KFL5


1. SCORING - 

  • One point for each run scored. 
  • 25 points for each wicket. 
  • In case of run out, 25 points for player whose name appear on ESPNCricinfo scorecard. Wicket keeper will score wicket points if his name appear on scorecard.
  • At start of tournament value of players will be set to zero. As tournament progresses, value of player will be equal to his KFL score. 

2. REWARD -

  • Bowler Wickets Reward - Scoring rate to increase by 10 points after every wicket. Second wicket to get 35 points. Third wicket to get 45 points. Fourth wicket to get 55 points and so on.
  • Bowler Economy rate reward = (1.25 x number of deliveries bowled)-Total runs conceded. 

3. Team formation -

  • Each member to form team of 11 players. 
  • Initially option is given to choose players from eight teams namely, India, Australia, Srilanka, SouthAfrica, West Indies, Pakistan, New Zealand and England. 
  • Members will be given an option to choose players from qualifying team during exclusive substitute window. Player cost for qualifying team members will be zero for this window. 
  • STAR PLAYERS - Out of eight teams mentioned above, few players will be marked as star players. Each member will be allowed to select not more than five start players in his team. Star players will not earn reward points till first substitute window.

4. Substitute Window - 

  • Exclusive for opting qualifying team players - March 18 00:00 Hrs to 20:00 Hrs
  • First Substitute Window - March 20 00:00 Hrs to 20:00 Hrs
  • Second Substitute Window - March 25 00:00 Hrs to 20:00 Hrs
  • After league stage of WC members can place sub request at any time. It shall take effect from subsequent match.This shall be applicable till final match of WC.
  • After substitution execution, points equal to new player will be reduces from member's score. 
  • No limit for number of substitute requests. 
5. Last date for team submission - March 15, 8PM.
