Scoring

1. One Point for each run scored between 1 to 50. 
    1.1 Point for each run between 51-100.
    1.2 point for each run between 101 to 150. 
    1.3 point for each run between 151-200.
    1.4 point for each run between 201-250. 
    1.5 point for each run between 251-300
    1.6 point for each run between 301-350. 
    1.7 point for each run between 351-400
2. 25 points for a wicket or a run out. Scoring rate shall increase by 5 points with every wicket. E.g. First wicket 25 points, Second wicket 30 points, 3rd wicket 35 points and so on. Wicket keepers can score run out points.
3. Saviour Bonus -
If team batting in final inning manages to hold on to draw then number of balls faced by batsman will earn bonus points. Such innings will have to be longer than 80 overs. Batsman facing more than 20 balls will earn 0.5 points per ball faced after 20th ball.
4. Scoring rates for third and fourth test will be doubled. Scoring for final test will be double of third and fourth test.

Team Selection - 

5. Members will have to provide list of 16 players. First 11 players will form playing 11. Members can make any number of substitutions out of remaining 5. If he wishes to get player in playing 11 which is not in list of 16, he will have to buy him. Bought player will put outgoing player out of 16 and he won’t be available for free substitute. 
6. First player of each team will be captain. He will score at double rate for each test.
7. Second player of each team will be vice captain and he will score at 1.5 times rate that other players.
8. Substitutions are allowed between tests only.
9. Captain cannot be substituted.
10. Vice captain can be substituted from third test onwards.

KFL 8 IPL 2017

Framework for scoring

1. SCORING - 

One point for each run scored. 
25 points for each wicket. 
In case of run out, 25 points for player whose name appear on ESPNCricinfo scorecard. 
Wicket keeper will score wicket points if his name appear on scorecard. At start of tournament value of players will be set to zero. As tournament progresses, value of player will be equal to his KFL score. 

2. REWARD - 

Batsman Strike rate reward = (Number of runs scored - Number of balls faced)
Bowler Wickets Reward - Scoring rate to increase by 10 points after every wicket. Second wicket to get 35 points. Third wicket to get 45 points. Fourth wicket to get 55 points and so on.
Bowler Economy rate reward = (1.25 x number of deliveries bowled)-Total runs conceded. 

3. Team formation -

Each member will have to form team of 11 players. 
Team Submission window - March 28 to April 9 15:00 Hrs
KFL score of player to be added to member's score from next match after team submission. This will be applicable for team submissions after start of IPL.

4. Substitute - 
Ten (10 nos) FREE substitute will be allowed per member till end of league stage.
No PAID substitutes till end of league stage.
First Substitute Window - April 17 23:00 Hrs to April 18 20:00 Hrs
Second Substitute Window - May 1 23:00 Hrs to May 2 20:00 Hrs
After league stage of IPL10, members can place sub request at any time. It shall take effect from subsequent match.
